Simplex Pockette 16mm movie camera, made by the International Projector Corp. of New York, must have been one of the first, if not the first, cartridge movie cameras. No more fumbling with clumsy reels. Its a wind-up model, so theres no worrying about run-down batteries, either. The camera comes with a Kodak Anastigmatic f1.8 2.5 mm lens. There are three types of sighting mechanisms. First there are a front and back non-lens frames. Then theres a built in lens on top of the camera that focuses through the Kodak lens. Finally, theres a lond-distance sighting lens that fits on the top of the camera.Develop before Nov. 1947. The other says, Develop before Jun. 1947.
